The Level 2 Expanded Skills of the Herbalist: Preparing for Clinical Practice Certification program, geared towards students with an intermediate to advanced level of experience, is taught by exceptional herbal teachers revered at national and international levels. Our Level 1 Herbal Certification is an entry-level beginner program regarded as one of the best of its kind in the U.S. Our programs range from pop-up workshops taught by talented local herbalists, musicians and craftspeople, to a comprehensive hands-on herbal certification program taught by Wendy Snow Fogg, Jessica Daigle and Summer Boudreau. We welcome students from far and wide interested in pursuing herbal studies. She and husband Clyde have lovingly stewarded the farm since 1982, even before Wendy began to hear the songs of the plants and the whisperings of the trees and other nature spirits of this very sacred and magical land.
Wendy Snow Fogg is the founder and Senior Herbalist at Misty Meadows. Her deep personal relationship with this land and the beings who live here has fostered a sense of "coming home to heal" for hundreds of students, teachers and visitors. While our gardens are not certified organic, organic practices have been in place since the beginning, and now include permaculture. We are nestled on 66 acres of protected pasture and woodlands on scenic Wednesday Hill Road in the town of Lee, New Hampshire. Since 1989 our herb shop and quaint gardens have grown and evolved to become one of the finest production facilities and resources in the country for bulk herbs, herbal products and education.
