Once per day, you get a chance to invite two Pokemon to the cafe so you can work on improving friendship levels. Once you’ve fulfilled 55 orders, you’ll unlock the Party feature. Once the rating hits the required number of stars, they’ll join your cafe staff.įortunately, it’s not as random as it sounds. Unlocking them means they’ll start showing up as customers, but you’ll have to work on fulfilling their orders to increase your friendship ranking with them. Once it's charged up, you can use it in the puzzle by pulling it over or save it for another time.There’s a difference between unlocking and actually recruiting a Pokemon in Cafe Mix. You can use a Pokémon's Cafe Skills in a challenge by connecting as many of the Pokémon icons as you can in a puzzle. Make sure when you do puzzles that the Pokémon helping you has a skill that matches the puzzle, as it will make it easier to solve. A higher friendship bonus with staff means that they'll be better at helping you solve puzzles. The work doesn't end when the Pokémon joins your staff once that happens, you'll begin to get bonuses every time that same species of Pokémon visits the cafe and places an order. This will be extremely helpful in the future because the game will have events with special limited pokemon whose friendship you'll have to max out before the end of the event in order to keep them. Occasionally you'll get a friendship bonus that will allow you to get more points when you finish a puzzle. Keep filling their orders correctly over time and they'll join the cafe after a certain point. Rather you'll have to win them over by jacking up their friendship bars. Keep in mind that the Pokémon who begin visiting the cafe after a certain order is cleared will not automatically join your staff. You can look ahead to see who will be visiting next by taking a peek at the Cafe Upgrades menu.
